We’ve got some exciting news! 

Times are becoming increasingly challenging for charities. To safeguard the future of our services, after carefully considering a range of options, we’re delighted to announce that: 

On 1st October 2025, the Family and Relationship Centre (formerly Relate London North East and Essex) will formerly merge into the TLC: Talk, Listen, Change Group. 

TLC: Talk, Listen, Change is a national relationships charity. It was formed in 2017 following disaffiliation from the national Relate Federation.  

TLC’s vision is of a society where everyone is surrounded by a circle of safe, healthy, happy relationships in all areas of their lives. They deliver therapeutic wellbeing services, family mediation, and domestic abuse support across the country. 

For those using Family and Relationship Centre services: 

We are keen to emphasise that those we support will still receive the same high-quality counselling and mediation services as before, but now with the added stability that comes from being part of a larger, well-established charity. 

For now, our website and phone lines will remain the same.  We’ll be sure to dutifully inform you if anything changes. 

We are looking forward to the growth and development of support for everyone in North and South East London, Kent and Essex under the care of TLC.
