We’ve got some exciting news!
To safeguard the future of our services, after carefully considering a range of options, we’re delighted to announce that:
On 1 October 2025, The Family and Relationship Centre (formerly Relate London North East and Essex) will formerly merge into the TLC: Talk, Listen, Change Group. This includes the profit-for-purpose counselling subsidiary, Now You’re Talking.
Now You’re Talking provide a wide range of counselling services, often with no waiting lists. Those looking for support can select therapists based on their areas of expertise, location, and types of therapy offered. All therapists are registered with an appropriate professional body, with therapists formerly working for The Family and Relationships Centre now available to book for in-person or online sessions.
For those already using Family and Relationship Centre services:
We are keen to emphasise that those we support will still receive the same high-quality counselling and mediation services as before, but now with the added stability that comes from being part of a larger, well-established charity.
For now, our website and phone lines will remain the same. We’ll be sure to dutifully inform you if anything changes.
We are looking forward to the growth and development of support for everyone in North and South East London, Kent and Essex under the care of TLC.

TLC: Talk, Listen, Change is a national relationships charity. It was formed in 2017 following disaffiliation from the national Relate Federation.
TLC’s vision is of a society where everyone is surrounded by a circle of safe, healthy, happy relationships in all areas of their lives. They deliver therapeutic wellbeing services, family mediation, and domestic abuse support across the country.
